I'm a fairly typical person, well, at least I like to think so! I graduated high school in 2008, and attended EKU for a year and decided that right this second, school isn't for me. I enlisted into the Army National Guard on June 4, and leave for basic in October. Im very excited about starting this chapter of my life, even though i've had mixed reactions about it from a lot of people, especially family.

Horse showing has been my life, well, at least my social life, for the last 12 years, and to be honest, I kind of burnt myself out on it. I still love being around and working with horses, but I also enjoy other outdoor activities, fishing, playing sports (baseball, football, basketball, soccer are my favorites, I also like going shooting...(great stress relief; filling something full of lead....especially textbooks that the college wont buy back. haha)

The pro teams I cheer for NFL and MLB would be the Bengals and the Reds, and yes I know our records suck in general, but i'd be disowned from my family if I didn't support them! (IN GENERAL.....not counting this Bengals season....WHO DEY!!)

Aside from sports and generally being active, I'll also sit down for a few hours with a good book or round up a few friends to sit down and watch a movie with.

My family is very important to me, and if I'm not at the barn or with friends, I'm probably hanging with one of my siblings, or one of my cousins. I have two older sister's who are both out of college and a little brother who's in high school, as well as some thirty odd cousins (just on one side of my family!) a few of who may as well be my siblings.

Like a lot of kids, I was raised in church, and like the typical teen and young adult, I had to try it on my own, and make my own mistakes. I've made decisions that have almost killed me, burned some bridges, and short changed both my family and myself. I finally realized that God is what was missing in my life, not so much he wasn't there, but I hadn't accepted Him, and I'm trying as hard as I can to live every day for Him. I am not perfect, but the only perfect Man this world has ever seen died for our mistakes. I'm not one to shove religion down peoples throats, but my faith is a big part of who I am.

I just had a son last Oct. he is already what a man should be. I'm a single momma and don't mind it. Things I have been through alot in life but I use it to better myself and make me strong in the long run, i let nothing get me down in life, its just a waste of time. I enjoy making people smile laugh and have a good time is what i like. Ima joker. ;) Putting a smile on there faces and knowin i made a change in ther day if they were sad or unhappy means alot. Ima kid at heart with a big personality, but serious when need be. I'm always up for tryin or doing somethin new in life.
